Jumbuck – 65 cm Large Herding Ball for Dogs

Jumbuck – 65 cm Large Herding Ball for Dogs

Built for the largest herding and working breeds: big, powerful dogs who love to chase, push and herd.

When Sheepo isn’t big enough

Some dogs need more ball. Jumbuck is our biggest herding ball at 65 cm, with the same tough dual-layer design as Sheepo and Poddy, scaled up for dogs with real size and strength behind them.

It gives that drive a job: burning energy, preventing boredom, and giving your dog the mental and physical work they need.

Built for big dogs

• 65 cm herding ball with a tough dual-layer design
• Heavy-duty outer cover over a strong inner ball
• Suits large and giant breeds like Maremmas, German Shepherds, Rottweilers and Great Danes
• Turquoise colour, easy to spot in the yard or paddock

What’s in the box

• 65 cm inner ball
• Heavy-duty outer cover
• Inflation valves
• Instructions and play tips

Which size does your dog need?

Jumbuck is for big, strong dogs who’d flatten a smaller ball. Too small and it becomes a chew toy. Too big and your dog can’t get it moving.

For other dogs, we also make:

• Sheepo (55 cm): the right pick for most herding breeds, like Kelpies, Border Collies and Cattle Dogs
• Poddy (45 cm): suits smaller breeds

Getting started

1. Zip the cover three-quarters closed before inflating, for a snug fit.
2. Find an open, safe space.
3. Let your dog sniff it out first, with no pressure.
4. Keep the first few sessions short. Most dogs pick it up quickly.
5. Always supervise play. Jumbuck is very tough, but no toy is indestructible.

Looking after your Jumbuck

• Check the seams and cover regularly for wear.
• Wipe it down or hose it off after outdoor play.
• Keep it out of direct sun when it’s not in use. Heat strains the seams and shortens the ball’s life.
